Found within Southern Tagalog or MIMAROPA region in the Philippines, Palawan is the largest province in the country, considering the vastness of its land or in terms of total area of jurisdiction. The islands of Palawan stretch from Mindoro in the northeast to Borneo in the southwest. It lies between the Sulu Sea and the South China Sea.
